Play for good. Win for community.

Every match in The Visor Cup Charity is more than a game—it’s a chance to create brighter futures. We unite sports, education, and compassion to bring measurable change to our communities.

About us

Founded in Sugar Land, Texas, The Visor Cup Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to harness the power of sports to inspire youth, support struggling families, and promote healthier communities. With tournaments, mentorship, scholarships, and local projects, we ensure that every dollar raised goes directly into life-changing initiatives. Transparency and community-driven leadership are at the core of our operations.

Programs

Visor Cup Tournament

Our flagship fundraising event where local teams and athletes compete not just for trophies, but for impact. Entry fees, sponsorships, and donations collected during the event fund scholarships, clinics, and direct community aid. The tournament is a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and giving back.

Youth Empowerment

We provide access to sports for children and teens who otherwise lack opportunities. Our youth programs combine athletic training with leadership workshops, confidence building, and mentorship from experienced volunteers. Many participants go on to become role models in their own neighborhoods.

Community Projects

Through food drives, housing assistance, and local partnerships, we directly support families in crisis. Each project is designed in collaboration with community members to meet real needs, from school supplies to emergency relief during natural disasters.

Sports Scholarships

We award scholarships to talented and hardworking students who excel in both academics and athletics. These scholarships remove barriers for students from underprivileged backgrounds, ensuring they can pursue higher education while continuing to grow as athletes.

Health & Wellness

Beyond the game, we believe in fostering lifelong healthy habits. Our wellness programs include free fitness classes, nutrition education workshops, and mental health resources to empower community members of all ages to thrive physically and mentally.

Partnerships

We collaborate with local businesses, schools, and other nonprofits to multiply our impact. Partnerships bring sponsorships, equipment donations, and volunteer power that allow us to expand our reach and sustain our mission year after year.

Visor Cup 2025

Planned for September 2025 in Sugar Land, TX, our next major tournament will be bigger than ever. With expanded brackets, new youth clinics, and stronger partnerships, we aim to raise $10,000 by December 2025. These funds will directly fuel scholarships, family assistance, and health initiatives across the region.

  • 50+ teams across multiple divisions
  • Youth skills camps led by professional coaches
  • Fundraising booths and live donation matching
  • All proceeds reinvested into local impact programs

Looking ahead

After 2025, we will scale our programs across Texas and eventually nationwide. Our long-term vision includes building a sustainable network of youth sports academies, expanding scholarship funds, and establishing annual wellness fairs. By 2030, we envision The Visor Cup Charity as a national leader in sports-based community empowerment.
